Daniel Freitag is a 6'3" point guard from Bloomington, Minnesota. He is currently a sophomore and is averaging 25.1 points per game for the Jaguars, leading them to a 15-6 record. He has already received offers from Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa State, ranked as the top player in Minnesota's 2024 class. He is ranked as the top football player in the state's class as well, playing wide receiver and defensive back.
I was able to spend the day with Daniel on Saturday, February 12th. He had a workout in the morning with his trainer. Then, he had a team walkthrough. After that, he had a non-conference matchup with Fridley at Hamline. Finally, he had tickets to the Men's Gopher basketball game vs Penn State, as me and his teammate Hayden Holland tagged along.
