Today we are exploring a little known Nike missile base that has sat abandoned for decades on the outskirts of Chicago. Join us as we show you what's left of this historic site.
---
DISCLAIMER : I realized after the fact that the missiles did not fire straight up from those metal squares, but actually from the patches of trees in between the metal. You can see one at 5:41 in the video. They were laid horizontal underground and rose upward for launch. It seems there were a total of 6 at the site. The aerial view gives you a good look at them at 7:03. Apologies for the confusion.

I explore the various abandoned and decrepit buildings and locations that pepper the world. These places are remnants of the past, and I enjoy documenting them for all to see before they succumb to man or Mother Nature. Join me as I enter the belly of the beast and show you what these abandoned buildings have to offer on the inside. Happy Hunting and I wish everyone safe explorations :)
NEVER VANDALIZE, NEVER STEAL, NEVER BREAK IN.
