In this comparison review of Orthaheel, Superfeet, and Sorbothane insoles I cover their qualities, materials, pros, and cons.
I do love the cushion provided by Sorbothane insoles but haven’t been able to find or obtain Sorbathane insoles with adequate support for the arches of my feet. Yes, I am aware of the Ultra Graphite Arch Sorbothane insoles, but the flimsy insert that is stuck to their underside is so weak that it really doesn’t provide good arch support.
The Full Length Relief and Active versions of Orthaheel insoles provide better arch support than the Sorbothane ones, but their stiff foam material really doesn’t provide much cushion or shock absorption for your feet. Thus, I prefer the Orange version of Superfeet insoles. They provide good, firm support for your arches but provide slightly better cushioning than the Orhaheel ones do. You can also get Blue, Green, or other versions of Superfeet insoles that provide different degrees of thickness and arch height.
