We changed the steering column due to the clock spring being broken making the horn sound periodically.
This resulted in the truck becoming a no start.
There is a chip in the ignition system on the steering column you need to relearn to the vehicle.

The relearn procedure takes 30 to 40 minutes in total

Step 1
Put the e brake on one click so when ignition is on the headlights stay in the off position.
Hook up battery charger to keep battery charged.

Step 2
Try starting the vehicle 3 to 4 seconds
No start?
Leave key in the run position for 10-12 minutes.
The security light will flash, go solid then go out.

Step 3
Turn key off
Wait 10 seconds
Try Starting vehicle 3 to 4 seconds, No Start?
Leave key in run position

Do step 2 and 3
3 Times and on the 4th starting attempt the vehicle should start.

Make sure you do NOT lay any wires or loose objects on any moving parts in engine bay.
