Calculus 2 video that explains the root test for convergence of series. We show what the root test for infinite series says, and explain the differences for the limit we get when using the root test. When the limit for the root test is greater than 1, the infinite series converges. When the limit for the root test is less than 1, the infinite series diverges. When the limit for the root test equals 1, the test is inconclusive. We work some examples where we determine whether an infinite series converges or diverges using the root test
