Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Feb 08 referring to Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Kashmir during ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra,’ recounted his memory of ‘Ekta Yatra’ when he unfurled the National Flag at Lal Chowk in 1992. While replying to Motion of Thanks on President's address in Lok Sabha, PM Modi said, “I also took a yatra to Kashmir with an aim to unfurl National Flag at Lal Chowk. The terrorists threatened me to dare to unfurl National flag at Lal Chowk on Jan 26. I dared the terrorists that I will unfurl National flag at the Lal Chowk and go there without security and bulletproof jacket.
