The Lackawanna railroad was first to cross this area in 1882. Sometime after that , a grade crossing was installed. When the Erie was moved to this area in 1950 , the project removed the 1882 section of DL&W and built new 1950 tracks just a few feet north of the 1882 main.
And Amtrak Passenger platform would fit nicely between the south iron of the DLW and the north iron of the west track bridge (main track NS now...) .This is also the area I have long envisioned as a bike path extension and service alley for (NS / Amtrak )
