In 1988 the Public Service Announcement featured two Blood gang members from Los Angeles discussing how they wish they can change but for them its too late. One of the Bloods featured in the PSA was shot and killed shortly after this taping.

The PSA also featured 3rd grader from South Los Angeles, George Thomas.
