The drummer, percussionist, and composer, Paul Motian, has been a big influence and inspiration to me for a long time. The first time I visited NYC was specifically to see Paul play at the Village Vanguard and over the next ten years of living there I had the good fortune to see him play many times. This is my little tribute to him.

The patch features piano recorded to tape on the Handi II Cassette recorder. It's processed by the Strymon Magneto via the Strymon AA.1 module. Mutable Instruments Elements and Rings, Rainmaker from Intellijel, with the Zvex Instant Lo Fi Junky, "Mannequins" by Whimsical Raps Musical instruments Three Sisters, Malekko Voltage Block, and Squarp Instruments Hermod, and Strymon Magneto and Big Sky reverb.
