A Delta Airlines Boeing 737-900 registration N927DZ, performing flight DAL984 from San Francisco International Airport (KSFO) to Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (KATL), was on final approach to KATL runway 8L when a bird impacted the aircraft prompting the crew to declare emergency getting a "STICK SHAKER". The crew initiated a go-around, climbed to 4000 feet, positioned for another approach to runway 8L.
