This video is dedicated to new dental assistants or those who happen to be changing offices. It describes the basic items that should be present for emergency visits. One important caveat, though, is that every dentist is different and may want a slightly different setup ready. It’s always wise for the assistant to ask the dentist(s) what they prefer in different emergency scenarios, and then to have the items ready to go prior to the patient’s arrival. A cheat sheet which details preferred items is always helpful, especially in larger practices with more docs!
