Join me, as we begin the first part of "our 6 part tour" of Manor Park Cemetery, in Sebert Road London E7.

In this episode = We begin with "possibly, the Cemetery's most famous grave" = That of Victoria Cross Recipient (Boy 1st Class - John Travers Cornwell VC). We pay our respects at his last resting place = Then learn more about him & his war + being awarded The Victoria Cross.. Then, we head off, & look at the graves & inscriptions of "lesser known" But still very interesting people! such as = A customs officer - A Pioneer of Temperance - A couple of Commonwealth War Grave Gravestones, on private family Graves - Harry Clarke "killed in action, in France in March 1918, & mentioned on a private family grave - + views of the Chapel & Cemetery, as we walk along.
