Assassin's Creed Odyssey is certainly one of the most controversial Assassin's Creed games probably ever made. I'd say that it is the pinnacle of controversy for the series. Odyssey brought along with it some major changes that really didn't sit well with fans of the original series and original games. Although Assassin's Creed Odyssey was a very good game by gaming standards, was it a good Assassin's Creed game? Was it simply just an underrated, over-hated title?

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is, in my eyes, a bit over-hated. The hate is simply exaggerated, as it is a fun game at the end of it all. However, with each good point this game has, there are certainly issues when you place it in the lineup alongside the previous Assassin's Creed games. Odyssey was missing some key elements from Assassin's Creed.
