Ernesto Valverde has picked his squad for Saturday’s visit to Eibar, for which he will have to make do without the injured Thomas Vermaelen. The Barça boss has also left out Denis Suárez, Paco Alcácer and André Gomes.

The 18 heading to the Basque Country on Friday evening are: Ter Stegen, Semedo, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Iniesta, Luis Suárez, Messi, Dembélé, Cillessen, Coutinho, Paulinho, Jordi Alba, Digne, Sergi Roberto, Aleix Vidal, Umtiti and Yerry Mina.

Before the squad was announced and prior to heading to the airport, the first team worked out at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, where they were joined by Carles Aleñá and Adria Ortolá of Barça B.
