By the time we get to the weekend, the Pisces Moon will take the wheel and help us to heal and connect with those we love.
💫 Astro Question of the Week (19:54): "My Sun is straddling my 7th and 8th House; do I interpret it as being in the 7th or 8th? I have many planets in both of these houses (all my personal planets) so I've just assumed both houses are equally energized."
With this question, first it is important to discern which House System one is using. Many will be confused as different Astrologers use different houses systems (Placidus and Whole Sign being the most common). Once you have your House System confirmed, look to see what degree the planet/angle in question is at. In this case, if the Sun is at 28 or 29 degrees in the 7th House, we can confidently say the individual is a 7th House Sun. The one exception I would give is if we didn't have an exact birth time and the Sun was at, for example, 29 minutes and 50-59 minutes. Then, I would work with the client to see which house feels for succinct for their Sun placement. However, just like with cusps, there is always a definitive sign/house placement for the planet or angle in question.
Question/Part 2 (22:26): "How can we feel the effects of transits based on our own Natal Chart?" (ex. Looking to Pluto Rx currently in Capricorn).
To take Question 1 one step further, you can track the current transits to see how they affect your Sun/other placements in each corresponding house. For example, currently Pluto Rx is in Capricorn at 27 degrees. Thus, if you have ANY Cardinal placements in and around 25-29 degrees, you will currently be feeling Pluto's influence (themes of Death, Rebirth, Power, and Control).
