Modern Hotel Georgetown, a small and beautifully designed hotel. Definitely Instagram worthy. The room itself is spacious, and comes with a balcony overlooking beautiful streets of Georgetown, and Komtar Tower.

Location wise, it’s walking distance to so many hotspots in Georgetown. Parking is available just near the hotel, however chargeable. I paid MYR 36 for parking at a secured private parking lot just opposite the accommodation.

The property prepares no breakfast. I had mine at a small cafe, Gala House opposite the street. Nice coffee and croissant. The reception counter is at the entrance, and guests are to use stairs to go to the assigned room (no lift). Maybe you may consider this if you have elderly, or physically challenged guests.

The bed was comfortable and I got 4 pillows. It was great as I do need many pillows to sleep well. Balcony comes with outdoor chairs and tables, so you may spend good time drinking while chatting. There was also coffee machine, but not so clean. It was dusty. The cups were also not well washed (heavily stained). They can just improve this, then perfect.
