Released in 2008, Fallout 3 was a massive W for Bethesda - revitalizing a beloved but dormant RPG franchise from the 1990s and bringing it to a new generation of gamers. Fallout 3 went on to win numerous game of the year awards and solidified Bethesda’s position as one of the top RPG developers of the generation. But is it still worth playing today?
After slogging through Starfield for over 100 hours, I needed a bit of a palette cleanse. So I figured why not check out one of Bethesda’s older titles to see if it had the same magic that I remembered from my initial playthrough. And rather than replay Skyrim or Oblivion for the 50th time, I decided to reinstall Fallout 3 since I haven’t played it in at least four years.
In this video, we’re going to take a look at Fallout 3 - 15 years after its release and see how well it holds up today.
