Parliament’s Natural Resources Committee has summoned the minister of Energy Irene Muloni to explain the controversies that have stalled an Shs880 billion project meant for connecting power to all sub-counties across the country. This follows procurement delays caused by infighting among officials in the ministry of Energy, Rural Electrification Agency and the main contractor over the selection of sub-contractors and implementation of the project.
