Terry v. Ohio has completely eroded the 4th Amendment since being upheld in 1968. Since then, it has been responsible for mass incarceration, precedent for other cases to violate our rights, and giving police dominion over our rights and life.
Terry v. Ohio and the laws that came after are completely rooted in racism and are still being used today! There is no reason to still have laws that came from racism.
This video does not detail the case against John Terry. But instead, it shows the effects it has had on our country, what came from the holding, and why we need to overturn it.
It couldn't be more important for our country to overturn Terry. We all know that police reform is needed, and overturning Terry would give the power back to the people and keep our rights protected. A petition has been started to Overturn Terry. It can only be done if all people come together and work together. This is not a political issue, this is something that effects all of us.
