Las Vegas Vlog LaLa’s 50th Birthday Rehearsal Day 1

Never would have thought our 2024 bingo card had piggy back trips to Las Vegas 9 days apart on it but here we are, back in our favorite city Las Vegas! Best place to celebrate an adult birthday. The trip starts off a pinch rocky with Pop Pop’s travel anxiety in full effect as we barely make it to the gate in time to board the plane. We finally land and make a stop to stock up on room necessities at Total Wine located in Town Square Shopping center near the Harry Reid International Airport. Then off to check into the Fontainebleu Las Vegas. This luxury resort did not disappoint with its beautiful appointed king room and all the awesome amenities this property has to offer. As we make our first room cocktails, we realize that it wasn’t pre mixed margaritas, but straight lime flavored Donkey Tequila! We make our way down to the casino for some slot gambling and brunch at Vida! Second time dining at Vida and this place is fantastic, excellent service at the bar. The Vida hamburger was one of the best burgers ever!!! We then begin our traditional day 1 strip crawl . Enjoying all the North Las Vegas Strip has to offer. Starting off in Resorts World gambling the slots and sipping cocktails, followed by more of the same at The Encore and The Wynn. Brief shopping break at the Fashion Show Mall before heading back to Resorts World Crystal Bar and High Limit room where the drinks were fantastic and service was even better! We finish the night with a bite to eat from Fontainebleu 24 hour Room Service with the biggest nachos I’ve ever seen! Food and drinks were a yes for us on this day 1 of the vlog but an even bigger yes for us was our slot picking thru out the properties on the North end of the Las Vegas Strip.
