The Energy Ministry is demanding part of the 60bn shillings earned each year from mineral sector transactions for enforcement and compliance of the sector. Edwards Kato, the Acting Commissioner for Geology and Mines reveals that 33 exploration licenses under speculators have now been cancelled.
