This is the best dyeing method that I've tried so far that keeps my sola wood flowers super SOFT (not dry and crunchy)! It's a "double dunk" of glycerin essentially. You'll need: boiling water, the acrylic paint color of your choice, and vegetable glycerin (useful links below):
