DESCRIPTION FOR CHATAMARI:
Chatamari is one of the most popular Newari food which is like a crepe made of rice flour and optionally it can be topped with variety of topping especially ground buff or pork meat and egg. The topping can also be vegetables which is seasoned with many flavours like cumin powder, coriander powder, tomatoes, onions, green chilli etc.
DESCRIPTION FOR BARA:
Bara Wo is delicious lentil pancake. We can make from any type of lentil like black lentil, green lentil or any other type. Newars from Kathmandu valley use this occasionly. Specially for some happy occasions like wedding, ceremonies, birthdays.

INGREDIENTS FOR CHATAMARI (Newari Food)
For Rice Flour Base:
400 grams rice flour
4 cup water (depends on consistency)
For Toppings:
400 grams chicken or buff keema (as per choice)
¼ cup finely chopped onions
5-6 chopped garlic and ginger
salt as per your taste
¼ cup coriander leaves chopped
½ tsb cumin seeds powder
2-3 chopped green chillis
½ chopped green garlic leaves
½ spoon Rogani chilli powder
½ spoon garam masala
INGREDIENTS FOR BARA (Newari Food):
1/2 kg dry lentil (black lentil or any of your choice)
1/4 cup chopped garlic and ginger
Salt as your taste.
1/2 spoon chilly powder
Vegetable oil (any type, roasted mustard seed oil is preferred)
1 cup of chopped green garlic leaves or chopped green coriander,
3-4 chopped green chilli
