Pruning Macadamia nut trees are quite time consuming. Here is a quick look at a day in the orchard whilst pruning. The reason for this is to get more sun light in the trees, so pruning the top middel part and the sides, is best for a better harvest. More sun light, more photosynthesis, more energy, more flowers, more bees, more NUTS .... We then mulch the remaining off cuts, and leave it for the soil to absorb and mother nature to do it's thing.
