A day before the Ram Mandir bhoomi pujan in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has issued a statement in support of the ceremony saying the event can be a celebration of national unity in India along with friendship and brotherhood among all. Priyanka Gandhi was joined by other leaders coming out and backing the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Former Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath credited Rajiv Gandhi for starting the process for Ayodhya Ram temple.
