Birth of Urvashi 👶
A long time ago, two wise men named Nara and Narayana were praying for a very long time. The king of the gods, Indra, got scared they would become too powerful. So, he tried to stop them by sending wild animals 🦁 and storms 🌧️, but nothing worked!
Finally, he sent the god of love and some beautiful apsaras to distract them. But Nara and Narayana were very smart. They created Urvashi from Narayana’s thigh. She was the most beautiful apsara ever! This is the story of Urvashi's birth.

Urvashi and Pururavas ❤️
Urvashi fell in love with a king named Pururavas. They were very happy together, but she had to leave because of a trick by Indra. Pururavas loved her so much that he searched for her everywhere. Finally, they met once a year and had six sons. This is the love story of Urvashi.

Urvashi’s Curse on Arjuna 😲
In the Mahabharata, Urvashi met a hero named Arjuna. She liked him, but Arjuna saw her as a motherly figure and didn’t want to be her husband. This made Urvashi very angry, so she cursed him to become a eunuch for a year. But this curse actually helped Arjuna later during his time in disguise. This is a very interesting part of Urvashi’s story.
