Ever prepared homemade brownies? If not you should definitely try @ushrvlogs 's recipe.... It's mamma mia!!!
INGREDIENTS
For the brownie sponge:
250g chocolate
250g butter (unsalted)
4 eggs
250g sugar
2 tbsp flour (self raising)
2 tbsp cocoa powder
For the chocolate ganache:
300g chocolate
300g heavy cream (single cream)
METHOD
Melt the butter in a casserole over medium low heat. In the meantime, chop the chocolate add it to your melted butter. Turn the heat off and stir for a couple of mins or until the chocolate has completely melted. Set aside.
In a bowl, whisk eggs with sugar for a couple of mins, then swift your flour and cocoa in and finally your melted butter with chocolate. Gently mix everything until all the ingredients are incorporated. Add your brownie mixture in a cake tin, previously buttered and lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 mins (180C/350F).
In the meantime, let’s make a quick chocolate ganache. Chop the chocolate then add it to a bowl. In a small sauce pan over medium low heat, add heavy cream and warm it up until you start seeing some little bubbles on the surface (you don’t want your heavy cream to fully boil).
Pour your hot cream in the bowl with your chocolate and let it sit for 5 mins. This way your chocolate will start melting. Stir and add your chocolate ganache on top of your baked brownies. Let them cool in the fridge for 1 hour and serve with some salt flakes on top. Buon appetito!
