Ellu Kolukattai/Ellu Poornam Kozhukattai

Ingredients:

Black ellu or sesame seeds-1/2 cup
jaggery-1/2 cup
grated coconut-2tbsp
cardamom-2
ghee-1/2 tsp
salt pinch
idiayappam flour or rawrice flour-1/2 cup
hot water needed
Dry roast grated coconut in a kadai.Take out in a bowl.
Dry Roast black ellu in a kadai.Take out in a plate and allow it to cool .
Grind ellu along with cardamom in a mixie jar coarsely .Add jaggery to it and grind once.
Add roasted coconut and grind once.Take out the mixture in a bowl and keep it aside.
Mix flour ,ghee, salt.
Add hot water and make a dough.
Cover and rest dough for 10 mins.
Grease idli plate with ghee .
Take a small amount of dough and flatten with palms in a oil greased ziploc bag.
Add 1/2 tbsp ellu poornam in the center.Close and seal edges of kolukattai.
Place ellu kolukattai in a idli plate and steam for 10 mins in medium flame.
Ellu kolukattai is ready.
