If you’re hearing aid isn’t working, it may just need to be cleaned.

Some times that means changing the wax filter in the speaker (receiver) - which is under the rubber dome that goes in the ear canal.

Most of the time when people come to me because their hearing aid isn’t working, this is the problem.

If you’ve cleaned the hearing aid, changed the filter, and know the battery is good - on Oticon there’s a green led that flashes for a few seconds when you turn it on - if it still doesn’t work, then it may need to be repaired and your hearing aid specialist can help with that.
