Was the Florida Will a forgery? You know, in our practice, we’ve had beneficiaries who’ve been disinherited call up and say that they were convinced that the Will they saw was a forgery. They were convinced that that was not mom or dad’s signature on the Will. Those are often difficult cases but one you can get an answer to. you’ll want to conduct a little bit of discovery in the estate proceeding that will allow you to interview or depose the witnesses to that Will, the notary to that Will, and you can learn the facts and circumstances surrounding that Will. Only that way will you ever learn if that Will was a forgery, and by the way, if you don’t do it during the estate administration process, you’ll probably never be able to do it.
