Jiuzhaigou Valley, known for its splendid colors and lakes like clear jade mirrors, is at its best in September and October, when fall foliage is at the height of its splendor with images reflected off surfaces of jade ponds. The Jiuzhaigou National Park is located in southwest China’s Sichuan province.
