Why Did Ki-Adi-Mundi Have A Massive Head? Ki-Adi-Mundi is famous for 3 things: having four wives, being concerned about the droid attack on the wookies and having an absolutely humongous head. This big head actually had some distinct advantages but also some big drawbacks. Ki-Adi-Mundi was a Cerean, whose skulls could extend up to 8 inches above their foreheads. Contained within this giant skull was an extra heart and an extra brain. This allowed them to consider two sides of an argument at once, making them extremely logical. However, it also made them quite arrogant and dismissive of unlikely events that relied on gut feeling or instinct. Therefore, Mundi was unable to sense the Siths return or comprehend that his Galactic marines would turn on him.
