Another sportswear brand has entered the NFT market and consequently the metaverse.
Precisely, Adidas Originals launched the exclusive NFT collection titled "Into the Metaverse."
Many companies, from the clothing industry to the video game industry, are moving into the nft world.
NFT or non-fungible token, is a digital asset used to represent ownership of unique items or access, whether digital or physical. Most commonly they are used for digital collectibles. Ownership and transfer of an NFT is secured by the Ethereum blockchain, which ensures that one NFT only has one owner at any given time, and that nobody can modify the history of the token’s ownership.
Now Adidas, which seems to be more initiated in this new universe, has launched the project “Adidas Originals: Into the Metaverse NFT that offers the limited edition digital collectible nft and to holders exclusive physical merchandise like sweatshirts.
It was made in collaboration with three nft artist Gmoney, PUNKS Comic, and Bored Ape Yacht Club More precisely, a few hours ago, on December 17, The Adidas Originals: Into the Metaverse NFT was launched and also was sold out.
The collection including 30,000 NFTs, 20,000 reserved for early access, 9620 NFTs for general sale, and 380 which will remain in the hands of adidas and partners for future events.
The price of the NFT was at 0.2 ETH equal to $810.
After the purchase, the NFT will show up in our metamask and can be viewed in our digital wallet or on a marketplace like as Opensea.
Buying the adidas Originals “Into the Metaverse” NFTs guarantees holders access free to four exclusive physical products.
The four physical products including the iconic adicolor Firebird tracksuit, a graphic hoodie, and gmoney’s classic orange beanie.
The physical product can be redeemed inthe specific windows during 2022, in which it will be sufficient to go to the website, connect your crypto wallet, check the possession of the NFT and place the order.
