This year, we got a chance to visit Segovia once again. We take a train from Madrid for a day trip to Segovia this time. It takes only 45 minutes by train. Segovia is the capital and most populated municipality of the Province of Segovia. It is located on the plains of Old Castile at the altitude of 1000 metres or about 3000 feet. The city of Segovia has preserved Roman ruins & medieval buildings in an amazing condition. There are so many things to squeeze in one day, including the Roman aqueduct, cathedral, cathedral’s bell tower, episcopal palace, and the medieval castle, Alcazar. The city centre was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985. Today, I’ll show you this wonderous historic city up close. Let's go. Allons-y!
