Pasadena California is a beautiful suburb of Los Angeles to live in...The San Gabriel Mountains sit behind Pasadena and provide a serene backdrop for the city. Not to mention great hiking and biking there. There is a fabulous old city charm with beautiful Craftsman homes that make the city famous...a lot of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops are available throughout the city. The city is known for their museums of art and is a short drive north of downtown Los Angeles. The biggest drawback to Pasadena is the hot weather in the summer along with poor Air Quality...if you experience allergies, expect them to be quite active throughout the summer months.
Prime time traffic to downtown Los Angeles can be around 40 minutes during prime drive time...With that said, it is a beautiful fabulous town to reside in....
