And, if you guys are looking to get started, or maybe are already investing but are just looking for new ideas and inspiration, then you can check out some of the books that I have personally read:
Robert T. Kiyosaki’s: Rich Dad Poor Dad
This book is quite easily on my top five list for favourite investment books to read. It focuses less on how to invest and more on the state-of-mind that you need to be a successful investor. However, don’t underestimate the power of this book because after you read it you will question everything around you. That’s why I suggest this book for people who are interested in investing and for those that are looking for inspiration.

Robbie Burns/The Naked Trader: How Anyone Can Make Money Trading Shares
If there was ever a book that delivered profitable yet risk-evasive investment strategies that every investor should know but in a funny, witty and easy to read way, then this book would top all of the others. This book is another favourite of mine because of the sarcastic tone that Robbie takes that makes it easy for the reader to digest but also has an underlying aura of seriousness behind it. It is also worthwhile mentioning that this book dives into the mental and emotional state of investors and how it is possible for the reader to capitalise from such scenarios. I especially like this element that the book brings because it is often ignored in a lot of investment strategies but plays such a vital role whenever conducting successful trades.

Morning star's Guide to Mutual Funds: Five-Star Strategies for Success, 2nd Edition
For those people that may not want to actively control their investments and may look to a professional for managing their investments, then they will definitely be interested in mutual funds. The Morning star's book about mutual funds gives you all of the tools you need to find the right mutual fund for your portfolio, with it all being centred around diversification/asset allocation, consistent success of the fund and reducing costs as much as possible. It also shows the reader how to use the Morning star's Mutual Fund Ranking and tailor it to your investments.

Rodney Hobson’s Shares Made Simple: A beginner's guide to the stock market
This book does what it says on the tin and gives new investors a clear idea of how to make successful investments in the stock market, whilst suggesting a plethora of investment strategies to take. The fundamentals of investing are covered very well in this book, along with lots of examples which allows the reader to visualise themselves in each scenario along with the likely outcome to expect from it. But, what I really love about this book is the way it clearly explains all of the jargon that is so commonly used in the investment world. From a beginner’s perspective, it can be daunting to learn all this new terminology, but fortunately this book makes it that much easier.
