Yep, that'll be Thursday. Ahead of a cold front, warm southwesterly winds will throw the Charlotte high temperature to around 83 degrees. Not only would this be a record high for February 23, but an all-time record for the month of February.
We've hit 82 three times, 81 two times, and 80 ten times in February since records began in 1878. The most recent time we hit 80°+ was in 2018.
