ASEAN Special meeting for justice for the people of Myanmar

The ASEAN Special Summit is due to kick off in Jakarta under a cloud of controversy as they aim to resolve the worsening crisis in Myanmar.
The controversy revolves around ASEAN's decision to invite the head of Myanmar's military government, which overthrew the civilian-led government in early February.
The military has also killed hundreds of protesters and detained countless more, including Myanmar's de-facto civilian leader, Aung San Suu Kyi.
Watchers say they don't expect to much progress as a number of ASEAN members didn't even send their respective leaders to the summit, just lower-level officials
