The Governor of the Bank of Uganda Emmanuel Tumisime Mutebire has been named in an illegal sale of land belonging to Uganda Broadcasting Corporation UBC. The land was sold to City Tycoon Hassan Basajjabalaba's Haba group of Companies following a letter of guarantee by the Governor Tumusime Mutebire to provide 96 billion Uganda shillings. This revelation shocked lawmakers this morning who described Basajjabalaba as a bottomless pit for the taxpayers money.
