Introduction to a one Minute reflection for our lives today based in the Word of God, to help us grow in living the invitation of the Lord that “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbour as yourself.” Lk 10:27.

Because of the tender mercy

of our God,

the dawn from on high

will break upon us.

Luke 1:78

O Father God,

You called the Baptist to

to announce a new beginning,

the dawning of your mercy.

An era to set people free

from slavery to the inner darkness of selfishness,

and blindness to mercy.

In this season may Christ give us

a new heart of compassion.

With all the People of God

may we cry out together,

“Marana tha”

Come Lord Jesus,

Amen.
