In this episode of The Debrief, former 22 SAS Trooper Big Phil Campion speaks to Neil Woods.
By his own admission, Neil lived a sheltered life in his youth, and soon became aware of this in his early stages of police training. A rare opportunity in the form of an attachment to the drugs squad, led Neil into the covert world of undercover work. Quickly becoming an expert in his field, Neil excelled in his career, before feeling the negative effects of the work on his mental health.
Now a distinguished author, and keen campaigner for the decriminalisation of narcotics, and the use of them in medical situations for rehabilitation, Neil is involved with multiple foundations working to reduce the number of service personnel suffering with PTSD and other mental health issues.
