The Samruddhi Mahamarg, officially known as the Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg, is a 701-kilometer-long, six-lane (expandable to eight) access-controlled expressway in Maharashtra, India. It is one of the country's longest greenfield expressway projects and connects the state's capital, Mumbai, with its second capital, Nagpur. The expressway aims to reduce travel time between the two cities significantly, enhance connectivity across the state, & boost economic development.

As of August 2024, a significant portion of the Samruddhi Mahamarg is operational, & the remaining stretches are expected to be completed soon.

However, some challenges, such as the condition of adjoining roads & ongoing construction, may pose temporary hurdles for commuters.  

The Samruddhi Mahamarg is a landmark infrastructure project with the potential to transform transportation & connectivity in Maharashtra. It is expected to play a crucial role in the state's socio-economic development in the years to come.
