The archeological complex "Old Orhei" near Vila Roz, part of UNESCO World Heritage, contains several tens of hectares of the medieval city of Orhei, the ruins of fortifications, dwellings, baths, and places of worship (including cave monasteries) from the Mongolian period. Rich in scenery, natural and historical monuments, the complex is one of the main attractions in Moldova.
