Healthy steamed fish and vegetables made into beautiful rustic delicious meals. These recipes a perfect for all of us who strive to eat healthier, make it quick, yet would never compromise on flavor.
The main ingredient in all three recipe is white fish fillet (panga and hake), but any fish would do really, the only thing one must consider is the thickness of the fish related to the time of baking. Mine were quite thin so I had them baked for only 15 minutes.
Keeping in mind the time of baking I sliced/diced the vegetables accordingly, small dice for vegetable that needs longer cooking (like sweet potato and the tomato), larger pieces for the tender vegetables (like cauliflower and broccoli).
Next important thing is the seasoning, keep it simple but make sure all ingredients are well seasoned - in steaming we need all the flavor we can get. And lastly I chose extra virgin olive oil and butter, but you can choose other oils instead. Don't skim on those - the fat is important in bringing all flavors together, without it we can't really call these dishes delicious.
