Here's a mysterious Drum 'n' Bass remix of 'Professor Layton and The Eternal Diva' (2009).

Inspired by the mystery of the film's complicated plot, I decided to insert a bit of a mystery into the song's use of modal harmony and inverted baselines; thus creating a haunting texture that underlines the warm and breathy vocals and samples.

I'm not really an anime fan, and I never really got the chance to play the games in full; but I love the influences the film has from Tintin to Sherlock Holmes and I think I've done my best at capturing the film's adventurous tone.

Due to some complications, the video quality isn’t perfect but I tried to keep the visuals as clean and crisp as possible (with my copy of the film being somewhat subpar!) Me and Simmertunes however, are hoping to try and make a ‘final’ version of the video for an upcoming album release! So stay tuned for that!
