My attempt at a fierce, passionate reading of one of the most famous love sonnets in the English language. The poem was inspired by Barrett Browning's intense love for her husband, fellow poet Robert Browning. They lived during the Victorian period and they were widely regarded as two of the foremost poets of their time.
The poem, known as "How Do I Love Thee?" or simply as "Sonnet 43", was written in 1845 and first published in the collection "Sonnets from the Portuguese", in 1850.
