Vaginal Discharge in Yellow color, if it is mild yellow with white discharge, it can be a normal discharge. Have to be checked up by the gynaecologist, any mild vaginal discharge of this kind has to be treated, especially in young girls and teenagers, all discharges in abnormally more or abnormal in color or abnormal smells. A mild white discharge with yellowish tinge, no need to worry much, this is not usually an infection, but needs to be seen.
But, in case a proper yellow discharge with a foul smell, infection has to be ruled out by the gynaecologist. What has to be done is a swab test to rule out Chlamydia, Gonorrhea infections or it can be a regular bacterial vaginosis, which needs appropriate anti-biotic treatment for a week or two.
