Sure, the iPhone comes with a built-in flash. But, let’s admit. It’s not really a tool for creating great photos. So, I had an idea. What would happen if I combined the burst shooting mode of the iPhone, with the stroboscopic feature of my Nikon Speedlight? It’s not an exact science, but I was able to get a nice result. This image was shot with my iPhone 6S+ and an old Nikon SB-26 Speedlight, set on the Strobe effect setting (which was commonly used for finding focus or modelling the light prior to snapping a shot).
