Many years ago, I found myself no longer a 25 year wife of a pastor, missionary, church planter. I was broken! I was abandoned by extended family, church community, and even by many in the community in which I loved and served whole heartedly without any compensation or hidden agenda. I was a single mother of 7 beautiful children. Two were in Bible College 2 time zones away completely devastated by the reality of their home front and what their siblings were going through . My desire to continue to home educate, nurture, invest in, support on the sidelines all their ambitions and interests, and raise up to be strong Godly children who were now in my sole care were squeezed by the need to be bread winner as well.
As I began prayerfully seeking the Lord for my "someone, somewhere, to use their power, influence, and abilities to help me become conformed into His image, He raised up resources so I could bask in His audible word. He brought men and women into my life physically and virtually whose words of wisdom, biblical principles, prayers of affirmations, declarations and spiritual warfare I meditated upon and wheeled as weapons night and day against rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
I DECLARE, was just one of many many weapons I loaded up into my then, mini ipod. Because I understand the power of the spoken word, I chose to speak these declarations in my own voice, so my mind, body, soul, and spirit could not confuse, compromise, nor deny the authority I daily spoke over it.
I am grateful for this resource and praise God for the resources inspired and birthed from a renewed mind. S.A.N.D.
