I just got this in the mail, and it held up to all my expectations. I went through 5 of these tubes, and there was no bending or twisting in the edge of the blade, only very minimal scratching, which is to be expected. This was a second, so there are a few cosmetic flaws, but the steel is reliable and I feel totally confident I could take this sword in to battle if I had to.
